A robot installed behind a log stacker is equipped with a log gripper. It picks up the logs from the stacker’s delivery table and places them on the pallet according to the defined pattern. Logs can be rotated +/- 90° or 180° in the gripper to meet the needs of the bindery lines.
Optionally, the robot can also rotate the logs horizontally +/-90°. This makes it possible to create layers where logs are placed along both the long and short side of the pallets.
